He is well put together with a big square hip, short back, cute head, and not to mention his stunning coal black color that shines. Midnight is broke the best to ride, and drive. We acquired him from a good Amish friend where he grew up, and put in many long days learning to work. Midnight is broke single and double, drives on either side, and has been hooked to every piece of farm machinery you can think of. He is an excellent carriage horse with his easy going temperament, and sturdy size. Midnight is easy to catch, stands well to be brushed, bathed, shod, harnessed or saddled, and stays gentle with any amount of time off. He rides extremely well in the arena, as well as out on the trail. Midnight will pop right into his leads with ease, stops well, rolls over his hocks, side passes, and is soft in the bridle. Midnight's gaits are very smooth, and he truly does ride like a quarter horse. Not to mention he will slide right over to a fence or mounting block for you to step on. We have had several friends take him for spin, and every one complimented just how cool he really is. We have hauled him to ranch rodeos, state parks, fun day shows, and weekend camping trips. Midnight has been a barn favorite around here for 2 years, and he will be missed.
