Heading and heeling horse. Montana is a beautiful stout sorrel gelding. He stands 15.2 H tall and is 18 years old. He is a heading and heeling horse. He is from Montana and was used to compete in roping successfully until his owner became too busy so now is used as a trail horse with us. He is a wonderful trail horse for anyone to ride but would make a lovely starter youth roping horse. He is currently ridden by an older woman and also been ridden by many beginners at the state parks...Zumbro Bottoms, Hay Creek and Forrestville. He is a safe and solid horse with no bad habits. He is an easy one hand neck rein, side passes, good in the box, loads in the trailer great. Great feet and legs. Great at horse camping too. Perfect for all ages and sizes.
