Turtle is a beautiful “One of Kind” gelding that will turn heads wherever he goes! This unique gelding is 5 years old, stands 15 hands, weighs 1375# and has a ton of personality. From the arena to the trails, Turtle is a dependable mount that has been there, done that. He wasn’t given the name “Turtle” by accident, it simply fits him well. He likes to do things nice and easy, rather than fast. With his smooth gaits and extra substance, bone, and foot without being too tall, Turtle is the dream horse. He is registered with the IGEA being sired by a Gypsy Stallion and out of a Percheron/Friesian Cross mare, truly making him unlike any other. We have hauled him to several state parks trail riding, and a few open shows. He neck reins, pivots, side passes, pops into his leads and is just plain fun and easy to ride. Turtle goes down the trail, over downfall, up & down steep terrain without a problem. Crossing creeks or rivers does not phase him either. In fact, a few of the hot days last summer Kayla took him swimming in deeper parts of river. He stands well to brush, bathe, and saddle. Turtle also stands well for the farrier and wears a size 4 shoe. This is one gorgeous black & white gelding that has a disposition that we all die for.
